Adjusting to the Addition of the Roof Rack
For a multitude of people, their vehicles serve as an integral part of their identity, akin to the embellishments of a new ring or necklace. However, acclimatizing to a new addition can take its own sweet time. This was precisely the case with an individual who recently adorned their car with a shiny, $5,000 bike, mounted on a roof rack. In a moment of forgetfulness, they pulled into their garage, oblivious to the precious cargo perched atop their vehicle. The aftermath, unfortunately, was far from pleasant.
The bicycle appears to have suffered significant damage, particularly the rear tire which might be beyond repair. Additionally, the vehicle’s rear windshield has been compromised and will undoubtedly require replacement. The potential need for a new roof rack is also a looming possibility.
