Not Much Time
Knowing she didn’t have much time, Betty looked at the lavatory. The sign was still red, but it could jump to green any second.
She placed the coloring book on the tray in front of the boy and placed the pencils on top. “I’m in the back if you need any help with anything. Don’t be shy to ask. We’re here to help you,” she whispered.
